I’m overjoyed to be able to present what I’ve been working on over the past few months. I start this with the hope that one day, it won’t be I but we.
This is a journey that took a lot of reflections. It was filled with doubts, falsehoods, hope but the good news is, it has materialised.
The idea of starting The Netick is me being passionate about technology, media and journalism. People close to me will testify.
I’ll be concentrating on delivering you the greatest and most thorough coverage of the consumer technology world on this voyage. Not just the nitty-gritty of the 24-hour news cycle, but more in-depth reporting, larger stories, and content that delves deeper. Yes, I will also focus on you, the average consumer.
Today, it’s just The Netick, but soon enough, we will have The Netick in other versions. My dream is that I build a website that is more than a static, permanent entity; but is a living, breathing piece of technology.
With this, expect changes every now and then, but, that will not affect your precious time on the site.
It’s just the beginning. I have you in mind and you will be the centre of the updates that will be happening.
I won’t delve much into what the website is all about, I will leave you to explore.
Finally, The Netick was created as a collaborative effort. I’d like to express my gratitude to the teams and individuals without whom none of this would have been possible. And I really mean it.
First and foremost, Eric Mukundi, the nerd behind what you are admiring right now, it is like he owns it. The guy behind the identity of the whole The Netick brand, Lenny Walter, there are no words to describe how talented, hard working, and ingenious these human beings are.
I can’t wait to see what happens next, and I am thrilled you’ve come along for the ride.
