Netflix has released its first mobile games around the world.
“Whether you’re craving a casual game you can start from scratch or an immersive experience that lets you dig deeper into your favourite stories, we want to begin to build a library of games that offers something for everyone. We’re in the early days of creating a great gaming experience, and we’re excited to take you on this journey with us,” Netflix has announced.
Netflix users can play five mobile games: Stranger Things: 1984 (BonusXP), Stranger Things 3: The Game (BonusXP), Shooting Hoops (Frosty Pop), Card Blast (Amuzo & Rogue Games), and Teeter Up (Frosty Pop).
To play the games, you will need to;
- Login to the Netflix app
- Access Netflix Games from the homepage or the games tab
- Select the game you want to play
- Download the game via your device’s app store
- Play the game through the Netflix app

A Netflix membership is necessary to sign in and play the game. The games can be played at any time after they have been downloaded. You simply tap to play them in the Netflix app or on your Android device’s home screen.
While some mobile games will require an online connection to play, others will be available to play offline, making long journeys and locations with poor Wi-Fi much more bearable.
Netflix games on mobile are available in a variety of languages. As a result, your games will default to the preferences you selected in your Netflix profile. Games will default to English if your language is not yet available.
This feature is currently available to Android users.
