DXOMARK IMAGE LABS, a private French engineering company that specializes in the measurement of camera, audio, display and battery quality of all types of consumer electronics has ranked the Oppo Reno 6 5G as the new leader in battery life due to its great charging and efficiency.
With 96 points, the mid-range OPPO Reno 6 5G presently leads the DXOMARK Battery rankings followed by the iPhone 13 Pro Max in second position with 89 points.
The OnePlus Nord CE 5G and the Vivo Y72 5G came third and fourth respectively.
The Reno6 5G has the highest autonomy score in its segment, according to the assessment. When charged to 50% capacity, it achieves 10+ hours of autonomy with just a 5-minute charge. This is because of the 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 rapid charging protocol.
The Oppo Reno6 5G provides 57 hours of autonomy with moderate use, which is five hours more than Realme GT 5G and one hour more than the Samsung Galaxy A52 5G.
When utilizing social apps, gaming, streaming music, and streaming video (both cellular and Wi-Fi), the OPPO Reno6 5G outperforms the category average battery performance, showcasing its great performance under ordinary day-to-day activity.
DXOMARK evaluates autonomy (the amount of time a charge lasts, or battery life), charging (the amount of time it takes to recharge), and efficiency (how effectively the device manages its battery during charge up and discharge).
