Safaricom, the country’s largest telco, has finally launched online SIM card registration ahead of the Communications Authority’s deadline on Friday.
According to the authority, mobile operators and subscribers have had enough time to conduct the cleanup exercise as per their request in 2018.
To register your Safaricom SIM card online;
- Follow this link –>> https://safaricom.com/account/kyc-upload
- Enter your phone number.
- Enter the one-time password you will receive via SMS.
- Upload the front and back images of your ID.
- Complete and submit.
Safaricom however says the link is yet to be live.
