itel’s new P38 Series promises the most affordable fast charging smartphone

itel, one of the world’s leading smart life brand dedicated to providing inexpensive and high-quality consumer electronics with an exceptional user experience, has announced the launch of its latest flagship fast charging smartphones – the P38 Series – in Africa.

Display

The huge and HD+ high quality Waterdrop display (P38 – 6.6, P38 Pro – 6.82″) on the P38 and P38 Pro aims to provide users with an ultra-large and immersive viewing experience. The ultra double camera and attractive metal stripe design give it a quality look and feel. The 2.5D glass covering’s small curvature at the edge of the glass display enhances the screen’s beauty and ensures a comfortable grip for seamless streaming on the go.

Battery

The P38 are enabled with 15W rapid charging. The charging time is much faster than the previous generation, with 3 hours of talk time in just 10 minutes. The huge battery (P38 – 5000mAh, P38 Pro – 6000mAh) with the clever AI Power Master management system ensures power control while providing up to 230 hours of music playing, 22 hours of video playback, and 7 hours of game time, according to the company.

Performance

The P38 Pro is powered by a strong 64GB ROM+2GB RAM (P38 – 32GB ROM+2GB RAM) and 1.3GHz processor to provide consumers with the smoothest-ever operating experience and the highest storage capacity of any itel smartphone.

Both devices come pre-installed with the Darwin Engine, which improves the smoothness and screen saturation, providing users with a full-frame gaming experience while also helping to reduce power consumption, improve battery life, and provide a smoother gaming experience through smart settings such as hiding notifications during gaming time.

Camera

P38 comes with an 8MP AF rear camera and P38 Pro with a 13MP AF.

The company says the P38 Series has been improved to include face unlock and 8-function fingerprint unlock to further secure users’ privacy. The face unlock and fingerprint dual unlock options make the P38 useful while keeping the user’s data safe.

There are 6 different colours available for P38 and P38 Pro respectively;

• P38 – Stellar Purple, Nebula Black and Spruce Green
• P38 Pro – Night Black, Mint Green and Ocean Blue
