Instagram has announced four platform changes that will be available to users: Audio can be imported into Reels, stickers can be applied to Reels, and users can now pin content to their profile grid.
Instagram head Adam Mosseri announced that the option to pin up to three posts to a profile grid has begun to roll out. By pressing on the three dots in the upper right-hand corner of a photo or video and selecting “Pin to your profile,” users can decide which photos will be pinned to the top of a profile grid.
“Your profile is your place, so we’re looking for more ways to give you control over that experience,” Mosseri said in a video.

The other three updates are all about Reels. Mosseri claims that the prior limit of 60 seconds, which was added as an extension last year, has been upped to 90 seconds. This modification aims to allow users to tell longer, more detailed stories.
The ability to import audio from anywhere in a phone’s gallery and utilize it for a Reel is the second Reels enhancement.
Finally, Reels gets “interactive stickers” in the third version. Quiz stickers, emoji sliders, poll stickers, and other features have been added to Reels in order to make them more “interactive and enjoyable” on the level of Instagram Stories.
