Phyllis Migwi has been named the new country manager for Microsoft Kenya.
Migwi takes over from Kendi Ntwiga, who departed to join Meta, Facebook’s parent company.
Migwi has a distinguished career as an IT executive spanning more than 14 years.
She comes to Microsoft after working for IBM for 12 years in various capacities. Her most recent position was Regional Hybrid Cloud & AI Leader-Africa Growth Market. Aside from her extensive ICT experience, she has held several positions in Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) companies in India, Europe, Africa, and North America.

I am confident that her extensive experience in Technology in Africa will help us scale partner and customer business impact through the value of Microsoft Cloud. As a strong advocate of Africa’s potential, I believe that Phyllis is a critical addition in unlocking the unique opportunities on the continent”, said Wael Elkabbany, Africa Regional Cluster General Manager.
Migwi graduated from the Catholic University of Eastern Africa with a B.Comm and an MBA from Hult International Business School.
