Showmax has revised the cost of its mobile subscriptions purchased and paid for through M-Pesa. Customers can benefit from decreased costs on two Safaricom mobile data packages that come with a 30-day Showmax Mobile subscription.
The new, lower-priced offers, which go into effect on June 28th, 2022, are as follows:
- Showmax Mobile + 1GB Safaricom data – Kshs 299, down from Ksh 389.
- Showmax Pro Mobile + 3GB Safaricom data – Kshs 1299.
According to Showmax, the shift, which is only available to Safaricom users, Kenyan streaming aficionados may now pay for their Showmax subscription using M-Pesa while enjoying more content for less.
Showmax tailors its content, app features, subscription price points, and partnerships to what is most essential to subscribers in different regions as part of its local-first strategy.

Igiza, a local Original thriller series starring Serah Ndanu, Kevin Samuel, and Blessing Lung’aho in a story of money laundering and stolen identity, was just released by Showmax. Kyallo Kulture, a reality show starring socialite Betty Kyallo and her sisters Mercy and Gloria, is a fan favorite. Weekly new episodes are added to the platform.
International series like Game of Thrones, Raised by Wolves, and Westworld feature the best of HBO. Paw Patrol, Henry Danger, and DC Super Hero Girls are among the children’s shows that debuted on Showmax. Zack Snyder’s Justice League and Mortal Kombat are also available to watch.
Showmax Pro shows the top football leagues from across the world, including the recent UEFA Nations Cup and the English Premier League, which begins on August 6. Showmax Pro has a packed program of world-class live events for sports enthusiasts to enjoy, including Wimbledon, the latest MotoGP, and the Tour de France.
